Print and embroidery brief: define artwork before sampling.

Prepare authorized apparel artwork files with technique, finished size, placement, color references, substrate and sample acceptance criteria.

A decoration brief should let the supplier locate, size and review the artwork without guessing. Only send logos, graphics and brand assets you are entitled to use.

01 · RFQ PREPARATION

Confirm artwork rights and version

Name the file owner, version and approval contact. Do not ask a supplier to reproduce third-party artwork without the necessary permission.

02 · RFQ PREPARATION

State the intended technique as a request

Name the preferred print, embroidery, appliqué or other method, then ask the supplier to confirm feasibility for the exact fabric, artwork and quantity.

03 · RFQ PREPARATION

Make size and placement measurable

Provide finished width and height, a placement diagram and distances from named garment points. Avoid instructions such as large, centered or near the pocket without measurements.

04 · RFQ PREPARATION

Control color and substrate

Supply approved color references and identify the garment color, fabric surface and any underbase or backing question the supplier should review.

05 · RFQ PREPARATION

Define sample acceptance

List the appearance, position, dimensions, hand feel, reverse finish or other buyer checks. Record the approved decorated sample and artwork version together.
