A tech pack is a controlled description of the garment a buyer wants reviewed and quoted. It does not prove supplier capability or product performance; it makes the questions and approvals traceable.
01 · RFQ PREPARATION
Create a clear cover page
Assign the buyer's style name or code, garment type, season or project, intended wearer, fit direction, document owner, version and issue date.
02 · RFQ PREPARATION
Build measurable specifications
List points of measure, measurement method, base size, grading and buyer-defined tolerances. Use sketches or photos only when you have the right to share them.
03 · RFQ PREPARATION
Describe materials and components
Separate shell, lining, rib, thread, labels, closures, trims and packaging. Mark unknown fields as requests for confirmation instead of filling them with assumptions.
04 · RFQ PREPARATION
Control artwork and construction
Attach authorized artwork, finished dimensions, placement and color references. Add seam, stitch, pocket and assembly notes only where they are needed to define the product.
05 · RFQ PREPARATION
Record comments and approvals
Keep sample comments, supplier questions, buyer responses and approved changes in a revision log. Identify which sample or file is the controlling reference.

Turn an open request into a controlled brief.
| Version | Example |

| Controlled | One dated pack identifies the style and base size, links the current measurement table and authorized artwork, marks open fields for confirmation, and records every approved revision. |
